Fist Weight

Dating from the mid 1970s and sculpted by Jim Ward, the Fist Weight was one of Gauntlet’s earliest designs. This is a limited-edition re-creation from photographs. The original was available as a left hand only, but thanks to modern digital wizardry we have been able to create a right-handed mate. Intended to be clipped into a ring like a captive bead, the weights were meant to be worn in a guiche piercing. They still can be, but they can also be worn individually or in pairs from stretched earlobes or other matched piercings. Without a ring and some minor adjustments, one can be worn on a neck chain. Cast in sterling silver. The height is about 1″ and the hole roughly 3mm.
